We are not going to require extensive board game knowledge or an ability to teach or demo games, as there is still other work that can be done, but ideally we would love to have volunteers here with a passion for helping others play games. Our library will be provided by The Haven Games, and you can check out their current library of games here: [Coming Soon!]

We are always looking for people to provide content and run events during the convention. If you are interested in running an event, see our separate Event Application form from the main convention Table Top Events website. If you are interested in participating in the event in another way, or are not sure which form to fill out, please reach out to us on our discord server, or email amanda@questconorlando.com

Different jobs will have slightly different lengths, but we will generally try to book you into a 4-hour block of time, which may be a combination of jobs. VIP handlers are the only job where we prefer a full day (two 4-hour shifts with an hour lunch in between).
-
Every 4-hour shift worked will earn a day badge for the convention. If you work multiple shifts, you can earn multiple day badges. Additionally, every volunteer will have access to the VIP lounge on the day of their shift for snacks and drinks. If you work multiple shifts, you will also receive a convention shirt for free.
-
Our QuestCon Committee members will be reviewing volunteer applications regularly, then reaching out via your listed preferred contact method in order to schedule a brief interview, mostly to answer any questions you might have and confirm which shift types you will be working. The last step before finalizing your shift will be a background check, which is required for everyone working the convention.
